The gang went shopping. You can tell it’s the same day because they’re all in the same clothes, clearly. I decided that a strip of them saying, “I think we need to go to the store.” “You’re right! Let’s go.” “Yes, let’s shall.” would be pretty lame. So we’ll fill up this week’s blog with that lameness instead, and give you some nice video game humor in the comic proper. And don’t you worry, you’ll see more of Gene, Neph, and Captain Bob soon. Oh, also the eventual return of MYSTERY GIRL. Keep your britches on. You too, ladies.

I don’t have a lot to say this week, other than Death Knights are pretty awesome and as I am posting this I’m watching an infomercial on the spanish channel for the Magic Bullet. No joke. It’s definitely making my hungry. Maybe I should ask for a Magic Bullet for my birthday…

PS Seriously. Magic Bullet in spanish. I suppose it’s bad that I’ve seen this infomercial enough in english to know what they’re saying.

I made sure not to cover up Charlie’s awesome shirt this week. It’s a bit of an inside joke with the folks at RHoM, some twisted bastard hybrid of Office Space and The Legend of Zelda. We’ve always associated it with Link wearing bling. Maybe that’s just us. I like it.

Hope you all enjoyed our little holiday bonus comic. I’ve enjoyed thinking of fun things to dress our characters up as, and I think Artista has enjoyed giving those ideas life.

I think that’s the groove we’ve started to settle down in to. I’ve always been more of an idea man, not quite so good on the follow-through. I’m thankful to have such a good friend as our Artista to help put those ideas to some use. We’ve got a good thing going on, I think.

Did everyone have a safe and awesome Hallowe’en weekend? I know I did. Best Hallowe’en ever, I might even say. Only three people recognized our costumes. One was a zombie girl working at the haunted house/trail thing. She gave me a high five. It was awesome.

I apologize not for the lateness of the comic this week, but for the prerequisite level of nerdiness you must have in order to fully appreciate it. It’s a WoW reference, and for that I am sorry. It just seemed too good to pass up, what with the new California cell phone laws in place starting this month. Leaves your hands free to do other things, like texting, typing on your laptop, putting on your makeup, shaving, putting on your clothes, taking off your clothes, taking off a passenger’s clothes, or you know, driving.

Switzerland, (not the country) one of our associate writers here at RHoM and the inspiration for the character of Eugene, is going through some rough times right now. I don’t know, nor do I particularly mind, if any of you are of any particular faith or not, but please keep Switz and his family in your thoughts, prayers, etc, be they directed at Jesus, the Greek pantheon, Qui-Gon Jinn, or whomever. I’ve known Switzerland for quite a long time, and have the pleasure of calling him one of my best friends, so my thoughts are certainly with him. Hang in there, buddy.

Well, kids, that’s it for this week. I won’t see you next week, as I’ll be gone for a bit and Artista will be in charge of putting the comic up. Don’t let her burn down the house or nothin’.

Here’s a few thoughts from Wednesday and Charlie. Apologies again for the less than ideal comic. Artista had a rough, busy weekend, so I’ll take the blame for the art in this week’s comic. Ah well. That’s life.

Hope you all had a nice Mother’s Day, which should have included enjoying our special bonus Mother’s Day comic. If you haven’t read it, you should. Just scroll down. It’s easy. You’ll notice some awesome art things happening in that strip. Artista got a hold of a dear friend’s tablet (thank you Ginger!), and she’s having lots of fun with it. You’ll see it in action again next week.
